It was a big weekend for two-time series champion Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Keewatin Truck Service Bloomquist, as he won all three main events contested during the 12th annual John Seitz Memorial weekend at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.

This Thursday night, September the 6th, the 21st season of NLRA action comes to a close with the annual running of the 'Prelude to the Johnny' at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, which will kick off the twelfth annual John Seitz Memorial weekend. This Thursday's event will be the 37th time the Speedway has hosted the series since 1999.

Cole Schill, driver of the No. 44 Mid Ag Dispatch MB Custom, and Don Shaw, driver of the No. 42S Northern Metal Recycling Victory, scored their first NLRA series wins of the season last weekend during the traditional Labor Day Double at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN.

This Saturday night, August the 25th, the NLRA heads north, for the third and final time this season, to the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN. This will be the 28th time the series has visited the quarter-mile, high-banked Greenbush oval, which was one of three tracks the series visited during our inaugural season in 1998.

This Friday night, August the 17th, the NLRA will co-headline with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for the second time this season at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. The race is scheduled to be the 36th visit to the quarter-mile, high-banked oval on the Grand Forks Fairgrounds, and the third of the 2018 season. This Thursday night, August the 16th, the NLRA will make it's lone trip to the great white north, as the Red River Co-Op Speedway will host the series for the 28th time. The fourth-tenths mile semi-banked oval was the sight of the inaugural NLRA event twenty years ago, and will be the site of the fifth annual Can-Am Late Model Challenge.

This Sunday night, August the 5th, the series will return to the Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND, for the first time in six years, and the 13th visit overall to the semi-banked three-eighths mile oval on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds.

This Saturday night, July the 28th, the NLRA returns to action with the second trip of the 2018 season to the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN. This Friday night, June the 29th, the NLRA will make it's live television debut as the series will be live on Midco Sportsnet during the series second visit of the season at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.
